Dear IMA Michigan Members,
It is with great pride and renewed dedication that I write to you as President of the IMA Michigan Council. I am honored to once again lead our dynamic and forward-thinking association.
As I look ahead, I remain committed to building on our foundation while embracing the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly evolving professional landscape. Together, we can continue to move our organization forward with purpose and innovation.
This year, our focus remains on:
- Reinforcing Our Core Values
We will uphold the principles that define us—Empowering and Connecting Business Professionals to Build a Positive Future—and ensure that our programs and initiatives reflect this mission.
- Enhancing Member Engagement and Support
We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and enriching environment for all members. Look forward to new programs, events, and resources designed to help you grow, connect, and thrive both personally and professionally.
- Expanding Our Reach and Influence
We aim to amplify our voice on key issues, form strategic partnerships, and broaden the impact of our work across Michigan and beyond.
- Innovating for the Future
With an eye toward the future, we will continue adopting new technologies and creative approaches to better serve our members and advance our goals.
Planning is already underway for the 2025 Fall Conference, which will once again be held in person at FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek. Anne Leighty and the conference committee are hard at work building another impactful and engaging program. Registration is open. If you’re interested in sponsoring, please email Anne at anne@phoenixgrpllc.com.
As always, your insights, feedback, and participation are the lifeblood of this association. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at Ima.mi.president@gmail.com with your ideas or questions.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve. I look forward to all we will accomplish together this year.
Warmest regards,
Evan Scarbrough
